My wife made a typo when paying our bill to ADT instead of sending them $39.73 she sent them $3973.00. Yes way more than it should have been. To make it worse the payment cleared my bank 8 days ago and it still has not been posted to my account. Not only was the ADT system unusable the company itself is rather sneaky. By accident I checked my credit card billing only to find these ADT mafia types were continuing to charge my card even after my house was sold. There were notified but claim ignorance. I am so disappointed with ADT. I had them in AZ for a long time and I was happy with them. I now have them in TN and customer service is horrible. First they didn't get my realtor discount kept disconnecting me on the phone. Aug of 2013 I was visited by an ADT security gentlemen who said that my home had a security system and needed upgraded. We had ADT alarm services for several years without any issues to speak of until we ordered a camera system and a new upgraded alarm system. First off, their customer support has a very poor understanding of their systems, there are many security flaws and on their website they advertise $27.99 a month but then sent a flier that charges $36.99 I had a break in as a result of all of these security flaws and having to deal with their customer service.
